Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are not permitted in school. If a pupil does bring a phone to school, it is collected in at the start of the day and returned to the pupil at the end of the day.
Should a pupil be found using a mobile phone on the school site, parents/carers will be contacted and asked to come and collect the phone and discuss the way forward.
This policy is based on our belief children have the right to learn and develop, to be the best they can be and that this will be achieved in an environment as free from external pressures as possible.
Pupils can ask to use a school desk top phone at any time to contact home if there is a genuine reason to do so.
