Dallaglio Rugby Works competition
0n 27th November, our EOTAS pupils went to a Dallaglio Rugby Works competition organised by the charitable foundation. The Bridge has worked with this foundation for several years to provide skill development programmes for teenagers outside mainstream school.
The event was at Rhiwbina RFC and was a touch rugby competition with 8 other schools and projects, 2 of whom were from the Bristol area.
Jaidon and Owen played for The Bridge and were joined by boys from Tonyrefail School to make up a team and they won all four games!
Both Jaidon and Owen were very competitive and scored several tries and conversions during the day.
The Bridge Team then won the quarter and semi finals against Dowland School (Bristol).
Sadly, The Bridge were beaten in the final by Porth School. All players and staff had a very enjoyable day and benefitted from the experience.
