On line Safety

On line safety

We are always working on the important issue of on line safety. This includes internet use in school and all pupils are asked to sign an acceptable user agreement when they start at the Bridge. This framework is part of our policy that ensures internet use is monitored and any breaches of acceptable use notified to senior staff.

Many pupils also have smartphones and these should not be seen or used during learning time. If a pupil chooses to use their phone at break or lunch time, this useage must be responsible and also not breach any aspects of the Acceptable User Agreement.

Please see the Parent section of the website for a list of links to useful sites with advice on all aspects of E-safety.

This is a link to a useful document for parents to check the ratings of games and apps that your child or young person may be using.
